Felicia Conner begins having recurring dreams of the woman who gave her a great new job. Night after night, Petra appears in her dreams. Petra begins to teach Felicia the wonders of the dream world she inhabits while Felicia begins to wonder how she can have such lifelike dreams night after night.
Petra welcomes Felicia to the world of Siriena, where the world may just very well be as it seems.
This complete novel of 96,000 words contains swords, magic, intriguing characters, an easy-to-hate villain and graphic sex scenes between Felicia and Petra.

I really enjoyed Rewind from Julia Lynde as well as some other stories, so I was looking forward to this. But this was a rather bland, meandering story. The two central characters were essentially dropped from Rewind into this book. The rest of the characters were virtually indistinguishable from one another.A possibly interesting parallel world was treated as a mild curiosity rather than the reality changing fact that it ought to have been. The central characters seemed oddly indifferent to knowing what lay beyond their doorsteps, minimally interacting with the "natives" beyond killing some and teaching others to speak English (no one seems to think that it might be a good idea to learn their language(s)).
Finally, although I don't want to appear to be a grouch, just how much in the way of tickle fights and giggling does one book really need?
I'm definitely not dropping this author but I'll probably avoid this series.

Pulled to the Dark The Siriena Series Book 1 edition by Julia P Lynde Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
I thought it was going to be "harder" and I'm glad that I turned out to be wrong. I liked this book very much. Thank you for writing and sharing it with me. It was a nice "glass of wine and fireplace" kind of book. Keep writing!
I want to start by saying I do not ever write reviews. I am choosing to this time because I very much enjoyed this book. It's story line was good and had interesting characters. Overall a fun read. I can't wait for the next one.
Julia's stories are always well written and interesting, though this is certainly a break from some of her other stuff.
Ms Lynde 's books are always a joy to read. Wish she would come out with more. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the antics of Felicia and her friends.
If you,'ve read great fantasy like Harry Potter, the ring trilogy, Or A Midsummer Nights Dream this does not come close. The wonder ended for me when halfway through the book it was revealed what was going on and then it became just boring as everything that happened was predictable. The villains are one dimensional and so is most of the supporting cast with a couple of exceptions. It could've been much better if the heroine had really left like she threatened to and had to learn on her own who her friends were and who her enemies were. After she accepted I lost interest.
Ms Lynde has combined her trademark B & D erotica with a fairy-tale story of selected people stepping through into the other world. She combines modern every-day characterization with highly imaginative setting and plot. To describe her delightful world building further would spoil the plot, but it's worth reading. Not only is this one of my favorite Julia P Lynde novels, but it's subtitled "Siriena Vol. 1" which gives me hope that additional volumes will be forthcoming.
OK, upon re-reading, I realize that I have actually said very little of substance about this book, but it really is unique enough that a more complete explanation would include spoilers.
~This author is so great. So different. I keep getting drawn back to her writing. I read Rewind and fell in love with the leading ladies of that book so much so it was hard to say goodbye to them. I was then led to search out other works by the same author in hopes to continue the love affair I find myself having with her characters (I hope she doesn't mind ;-) ).
~That search led me to this book. It was great. So unique. I love the characters. Such strong passionate women who have problems that's for sure but they face them with other strong women by their sides. Wonderful!
~I am afraid I am now hooked on this author. I have read a couple of her short stories as well and can say confidently that I trust purchasing from this author now becuase I myself have experienced the quality over and over. If you give her stories a try enter with an open mind and an empty schedule because you won't want to stop until the ending forces you to. Thanks!
